The Toyota Sera was a unique sports coupe produced from 1990 to 1996. It was sold exclusively in Japan and was known for its distinctive butterfly doors and glass canopy. The Sera was based on the Toyota Starlet platform and was powered by a 1.5-liter inline-four engine. Despite its futuristic design, only about 16,000 units were produced, making it a rare and collectible model today.
This magazine cutout showcases the Toyota Sera's most striking feature - its butterfly doors. The front view of the car with doors open creates a wing-like appearance, visually reinforcing the tagline 未知への翼, "Wings to the unknown". The light green color of the car stands out against the yellow background, giving the ad a fresh, futuristic feel that aligns with the car's innovative design.
