Overall Condition This Glycine field watch retains the crisp, angular lines characteristic of the 565‑style stainless steel case. The movement was serviced in June 2026 and is running well. The dial has aged to a soft pale cream, with subtle discolouration around the hour and minute track that speaks to its genuine vintage character. The minute hand shows more patina than the hour hand. The case appears unpolished, preserving its original case line and shape. While the stainless steel case and case back are in good overall condition, they do show the expected marks and scratches from years of wear. The manual‑winding movement winds smoothly and offers a precise, tactile feel when operating the crown.

This 30 mm Glycine has all the classic field‑watch features: lumed syringe hands, a red‑tipped central seconds hand, and lumed numerals. The stainless steel case is in the traditional “565” field‑watch style with a screwed‑down caseback, though this piece was not made under the FB name.

The “Bienne‑Geneve” dial was used by Glycine from 1924 to the late 1940s. It runs on Glycine’s manual‑wind Calibre 72, based on the Felsa 465. The movement still shows an early Glycine logo in a gothic font and has recently been serviced.

Key Features of this Glycine Bienne-Geneve Field Watch | Cal. 72:

  • Sryinge-styled hour an minute hands with red-accented central second
  • Stainless steel 565-styled case with screwed down caseback
