Overall Condition This Wittnauer field watch in a 24-hour dial configuration is presented in honest vintage condition. The case retains its sharp original lines and no visible dents. The dial has aged to a warm cream white tone, however, all text and numerals remain crisp and fully legible. There is a small area of discoloration around the 3 o’clock numeral. Although the watch's service history is unknown, it is in fully working condition, and the movement winds smoothly with tactile feedback.

This Wittnauer time only with center seconds has everything you expect from a field watch: large lumed numerals, lumed pencil style hour and minute hands, a screw down caseback, and most importantly, a 24‑hour dial.

Inside beats the robust, workhorse Wittnauer 11ES, a Swiss manual wind caliber widely used in field and military watches from the 1940s through the 1960s. Based on the ETA 1080 ébauche, it’s straightforward to service and well understood by watchmakers.
