Shanghai’s 1120 was the factory’s first fully independently designed movement, introduced around 1966 as a modernization of the earlier A581 and produced in large numbers as a core caliber. This movement marked a significant milestone in Chinese watchmaking by combining technical innovation with stylistic refinement, making the Shanghai 1120 a notable piece of horological history.

Condition

The silver dial developed patina around the edge consistent with its 1970s origins. The unpolished case preserves its crisp, sharp edges. The caseback engravings remain fully intact and legible.

Despite hairline cracks on the exterior plexiglass at the 2 o'clock position, the manual winding action delivers precise, tactile feedback.

All watch purchase will be delivered using express courier service with tracking number (this could be DHL, UPS or Fedex)
