Overall Condition This vintage Doxa Anti-Magnetic, housed in a 565 FB case, presents in honest and well-preserved condition. The original radium lume on both the hour markers and hands has aged consistently, developing a uniform cream patina that adds warmth and character to the dial. Its gilt dial remains remarkably clean, with crisp gold minute tracks and sharply defined DOXA logo and Anti-Magnetic text, retaining excellent visual clarity. The case appears unpolished, maintaining its original case shape. Surface scratches are present across the case and caseback, as expected for its age, while the caseback engraving remains clear and legible. While the service history is unknown, the manual-wind movement is running well, keeping good time and offering tactile feedback during winding.

An exceptionally rare Doxa anti-magnetic model featuring a gilt dial housed in a 565-style “FB” François Borgel case. This iconic case design was popularized by the Patek Philippe ref. 565. As confirmed by the hallmark on the inner caseback, this example was indeed produced by François Borgel — each FB-made case carries this stamp, with the notable exception of those manufactured for the Mido Multifort line.

The gilt dial is a seldom-seen variation for this model. Its gold logo and outer minute track remain crisp, legible, and free from oxidation. The hour markers are set with radium luminous material. Doxa’s interpretation of the PP 565 design was produced in various sizes, including 35mm and smaller 24mm variants.

Opening the screw-back case reveals an additional inner shield, engineered to protect the movement from magnetic interference.
