Overall Condition The Bulova MIL-W-3818A from the 1960s remains in honest vintage condition. Its matte dial is clean and free from noticeable blemishes or patina. The lume on the hour markers has aged evenly with that on the hands, fading together into a warm, attractive orange hue. The case appears unpolished, preserving its original shape and profile. There are some visible scratches on the case back, but the engraving remains clear and legible. Although the service history is unknown, the hand wound movement runs well with a crisp winding feel.

The Bulova MIL-W-3818A is a classic American military field watch made between 1956 and 1962 for the U.S. Army, Navy, and Air Force. It was built as a tough general purpose watch for soldiers on the ground. Inside is the manual-wind 10BNCH movement with a hacking feature, allowing troops to set time accurately

Compact at 32mm, it also has a large crown that’s easy to grip and wind. Its dial shows big luminous hour markers with 24-hour markings inside, and the cathedral-style hands for increased legibility.
