Overall Condition A very rare new old stock (NOS) Grand Prix Orient Auto Calendar fitted with the 64‑jewel caliber LCW movement. The case and lugs appear unpolished, retaining their sharp original lines. The caseback remains clean and well-preserved, still covered by its unpeeled original blue protective sticker. Comes with its original straps, product tags, and an unpeeled caseback, underscoring its true NOS condition and making it an extraordinary find in the world of vintage Orient watches.

A very rare new old stock (NOS) Grand Prix Orient Auto Calendar with a 64‑jewel LCW movement. The Grand Prix Olympia series was likely inspired by the approaching Tokyo Olympics and represented the pinnacle of Orient’s lineup—positioned above both the Royal Orient and the standard Olympia models.

The Calendar ”カレンダー” label refers to an addition of a newly developed date function, based on the L Type movement. With its 64 jewels, this Grand Prix Orient Auto Calendar was the flagship movement of the Grand Prix series, created during a time when watchmakers competed to produce the most jewel count and technically advanced movement.
