The Omega Constellation C-Shape era, spanning from 1966 to 1972, represents a significant evolution in the design of Omega's flagship collection. This era is characterized by the distinctive "C-Shape" case design, which was inspired by Gerald Genta and marked a departure from the earlier Pie-Pan dial Constellations. The C-Shape case, resembling two opposing "C"s, gave the watch a larger and more elongated appearance while maintaining a similar diameter to its predecessors. This design was well-suited to the trend of larger watch cases that emerged in the 1960s and 1970s.

Condition

This Omega Constellation C-Shape is in great condition with only gentle signs of wear, reflecting its age and honest use.

The case is in sharp condition, retaining its original C-Shape design with no significant dents or deformations.

The silver dial is in excellent condition, with no visible patina or discoloration. The hour markers and hands are clean and intact, with no signs of corrosion or damage.

The flat bezel shows some hairline scratches, consistent with the watch's age and use. However, the scratches are minor and do not detract from the overall appearance. The bezel remains in honest, unpolished condition, preserving its original design.

The caseback features the iconic Observatory medallion, which is fully intact and clearly visible. The caseback also shows some hairline scratches, but these are minor and do not obscure the medallion or other engravings. The caseback remains in unpolished condition, maintaining its original finish.
