Overall Condition This Gallet Commander is presented in genuine, original condition, retaining all of its original parts. The dial showcases a distinctive snail tachymeter with orange and red accents, complemented by lumed Arabic numerals. Considering its vintage age, the dial is remarkably well-preserved. The movement was serviced in 2024, and the winding mechanism feels crisp and tactile. The chronograph function operates smoothly, starting and resetting confidently without any issues.

Produced between 1938 and 1948, the Gallet Commander is distinguished by its unique oval subdials and the signature "snail" tachymeter scale. Powered by the legendary Excelsior Park 42 (EP42) movement, it is the only oval chronograph movement ever made, ingeniously compact at just 29mm.
