Produced after 1971 with the introduction of the SS1K movement, this 上海 Shanghai 1524 features a high-beat caliber operating at 21,600 beats per hour. The SS1K is an upgraded version of the original low-beat SS1 movement, which runs at 18,000 bph and is typically found in models like the 1110, 1112, 1120, and 1123. This Shanghai 1524 is presented with a silver dial accented by bronze indices, a bronze outer ring, and bronze hands. The case back bears an “anti-shock” marking. The watch remains in pristine condition, highlighted by its wide lugs and sharply defined angles.
